I have a Lumix LX-2 and I think its shite. I've seen other people's shots though and they look great, so I think I must have a dud one. Really ungood picture quality. I've tried all permutations of settings to get a decent pic, but they just don't ever seem to pass muster. There's nothing fundamentally 'wrong' with the shots, they just don't compare to my girlfriend's 'domestic' Canon Ixus or her dad's really crappy little 8mp digital camera that actually only cost him £40 brand new.
I'm off to the states so may think about picking up either a ricoh or a sigma over there. This thread is great and perfectly timed therefore.
