I love mine. Save the money and get the 40g so you can just get an external drive and connect to your Mac/PC and store the files there
It's seemless when the files are on a computer vs the appletv itself. I have a 500GB firewire drive cnnected to my imac just for this purpose, and with the appletv connected via ethernet you can't tell the files arent local its so fast... Wifi on the hand has some hickups.
