    Every couple of years I flutter back to the idea of meddling with graphic-generating algorithms. Within hours of downloading The Latest Software (in whatever guise it finds itself) I've usually given up, through a combination of programming-retardation and fear, having seen what The Better People are achieving.

    I like to think of myself as a graphics gourmand, hungrily consuming other people's expertise from the safety of the sidelines.

    Please, don't read any innuendo into that line, that's disgusting.
