  Why wouldn't a race rail against not being able to do something that another race says they have every right to do? African-Americans fought long and hard to eliminate those kind of inequities (and the fights not over, even).
  Either it should be acceptable for everyone to use it or it shouldn't be acceptable for anyone to use it.

  That being said, hurtful words are just that, hurtful, regardless of what they are or who's using them. Everyone should be seeking ways to be kinder to each other.

  Now if you'll excuse me, i have a bong to hit and some trees to hug
