  Well,

  A) I'm still not positive you are sincerely asking for help
  B) You jump around a lot in your question, moving from foreign to domestic ETFs to individual airline companies to the volatility index.
  C) Are you going to be consistently trading, monitoring, and taking profits on a regular basis? Buy and hold will not likely work in this market and certainly not work if the VIX rallies.
