You can use both.
I have a Boot Camp partition with XP on it so I can boot into it when I just need to work in Windows for a while. But I also have Parallels so I can quickly run IE (from my Boot Camp install!) when I need to debug something.
If you're thinking one of another, think if you have any reason that you need to run Windows by itself (games, etc)
- Not really as i have a deidcated workstation for XP, just to run few apps like Photoshop and convert it to localhost web server.thanks_kelpie
