I like both - but for me, I've decided to get the 35mm 1.2 L for myself for my 40D since I have a crop-frame camera.
Which is about a 50mm 1.2 on a full frame.and the 10-22mm is not a good lens for architecture unless you intend to be really far away. There is a ton of barrel distortion in it along the sides.
Great for extreme wide landscape shots, though!
