actually kelpie it something that plays on my mind. I don't understand the merits of scottish nationalism, why do they wanna go alone? I mean they contributed SO much for the craetion of Great Britain. They basically BUILT the empire AND invented Anglo/Saxon Laissez-Faire capitalism - the riches of Britain were paved in Edinburgh.
So i think they should be proud of that rather than whingin about "oh we've been colonised! we've been colonised!"
Actually, the colonisation that happened, happened by the Scottish low-landers who colonised the highlanders - the sedentary people who took over the nomads.
So it's like a much more complex picture as far as i'm concerned.
What do you tink about that kelpie??
