Economic coercion, which is capitalism, and the forced growth of needs is based on creating a shortage. Technical progress which increases productivity and thus annuls shortage, is incompatible with capitalism by definition.

For example, the marketing portion of the expenditures of corporation Coca-Cola is more than 80%, which makes sense considering coca-cola is completely unnecessary, not useful in any way for anything or anyone and even harmful for the health. of course, this is after they stopped putting cocaine to the drink -- marketing proved more effective- you buzzin?
