I'd agree with the above about £30k + positions in Leeds.
Leeds is a wierd one, the cost of living in and around Leeds has rocketed in recent years but salaries haven't risen anywhere near the same level. Most jobs for people with a few years experience still seem to be around the £25k mark.
You might want to try The Book (http://www.thebook.uk.com/) they seem to be one of the better recruiters in the area.
