co2 - the "respect earth" thing was over the top. He could have left it at subtle, but decided to hit people over the head with it... I guess he thinks his audience isn't smart enough. This is why No Country for Old Men Ruled all! Also, the Love thing was stupid. That they decided to go out right at the right time... ugh.

eighteen - why were they good title sequences? The fonts were terrible and didn't seem to fit the style of the movie. They seemed forced (like a lot of his directing).

I know everyone hates it, but I stand by it, in principle it was good, some good tense/freaky moments. Although most of the time I'm not a fan of his directing, he did have some cool sequences... like the people jumping off the building.

    • I thought that the Love thing was subtle. He knows his audiences are smart that is why his movies are never just about the "surprise" ending.co2
    • And I agree about No Country For Old Men. That is a movie that is superbly written and lost on many.co2
