    *Spoilers*

I saw this last night. I actually liked it, but having Shamamalyna directing it certainly hurt it overall. A few pieces of critique:

    1. M.N.S. has no clue how to do opening titles. I don't want to hear it, he's retarded in this area. He shouldn't be allowed within 1 mile of opening titles or fonts. This was on par with Signs for that.

    2. If he thinks this is a B movie he has no clue about cinema. Being a huge fan or horror, zombies, and B movies, I've seen a fair share, and this was not it. However, it seems like he did try and give some nods to B movies.

    3. Nods to Romero. The TV sequence at the end with the reporter and the scientist seemed to pull from the original Night of the Living Dead work "when there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth", as well as the radio sequences "The dead are coming back to life and seeking human victims". It all seemed similar. So while he failed to capture a true B movie, it seems like he tried, and wanted to be artsy about it.

    4. Crazy Old Lady & boarded up house w/ shotguns - another interest nod perhaps to horror movies(?). Early work like Texas Chainsaw and [again] Night of the Living Dead may have been inspiration.

    5. Ending: I would have preferred a more abrupt ending. I don't know what being pregnant had to do with anything. Fail.

    6. I did like the overall story, even though I know some people will H8 it. The idea was the making of a good horror movie (you can't hide, you will die), and the tension and confusion were good.

So I'd say see it, but have low/fun expectations.
