    one of my mates was over in japan teaching english.
    he reckoned that a lot of them were very racist towards him in day to day life and almost considered a second class citizen.
    definitely not the sort of way i'd thought the japanese would be.

    • I think the same can be said of any nationality with foreign visitors.
      I was born in Hammersmith but still get told to 'go home'.
