This in response to Josimar ^
If you read my post correctly, I said he came to the realization in THE END that he needed to share his life to be happy. If you think about it, he achieved his goal to a certain point, all he wanted was to have a life changing experience, he called it "the spiritual revolution, to kill the false being", and he did exactly that, It was unfortunate he didn't have the chance to leave the wild and practice what he learned.
What for people might seem selfish, was only a young man following his passion and ideals. Plus who hasn't followed their "dreams" or desires to a certain extent disregarding what our parents say or think about them?! In that case we are all selfish for perusing our true being, yet I personally wouldn't call it that.

    • well, yeah I get what you're saying and don't know enough details to say it's wrong but my impression of him was that he truly believed to the end (echoed by the smile in the photo), that he didn't need anyone else to approve or share what he was doing. It kind of takes away from his ideals if all he was doing it for was to 'show it off' to someone else.josimar
