OS X is still not as responsive as OS 9.
there are still small bugs in it.
I would say wait for 10.3
and make sure you have a G4 and a Quartz Extreme supported video card. Nevermind what that other dude said - he'd say differently if he used a newer machine. OS X is a little sluggish on my Dual G4 867 - mainly OS window responsiveness.Just wait for 10.3/Panther
That's what I am doing. I'm anal retentive about my OS.
I'm still pissed i can't turn off anti-aliasing.
