the commercial for this movie scared the living shit outa me as a kid
as an adult now, i get that it was more of a comdey-riff on the whole chainsaw masacre movies....but wow...as a kid.....the poster and TV ads scared me big time...
also...when i was about 12 or so, had a small tv in my room...friday the 13th pt-whatever had just come out and the ad would start by having a black screen and the 'ch ch ch kill kill kill' sound ...which was fucked up if you were watching tv late at night in your room...the whole room would go black and you'd hear that sound effect...fuck...
also...had a bad nightmare about Jesus as a kid....woke up, went to look in my basement...and as i stood at the top of the stairs, way down at the bottom was this ghostly white jesus with his mouth all hanging open and fucked up looking back up at me, kind of either screaming or some kind of weird jesus-zombie moaning...whatever, that dream scared the crap out of me for a long time...
- the jesus dream ..i dreamed that i woke up and saw zombie jesus..didn't wake up and then see him...that would be worse
