a few of the pluses:
- creating symbols that will directly import into flash.
- using symbols for duplicate objects so when brought into flash it uses that one symbol instead of a zillion images.
- vector work in fireworks is great and translates well over to flash (I wish this would be built into photoshop as well)
- it's a png powerhouseIt's not a replacement or competitor to photoshop like a lot of people who first here about it think. It is actually a compliment to photoshop. Fireworks is not a strong image manipulation app.
