pot is an inanimate object that is niether good, bad, virtuous or evil. the only relevant thing is my mindset and reasoning for interacting with that object. it is all in your head. this keyboard is being used for good things right now. i could turn and hit my roommate in the head if i wanted. does the keyboard become bad? should it be outlawed? i say no. all drugs are the same in that regard.
i enjoy smoking a joint before kicking back and enjoying a movie. do i need it? no. is it bad for me? any smoke inhalation has negative effects on the lungs, so yes. but i made the decision that the risk is worth the benefits.
just i choose to enjoy a beer, cheeseburger, coca-cola, or ice cream sundae. all these things are damaging to the body. i choose to ingest them anyways. i have ingested a wide assortment of drugs, some legal some not.
my point being there is difference between use and abuse. the drug isn't the problem with drug abusers. something compells that person to choose an escape into a substance. addiction is a psychological condition. physical dependency is easily conquered. the mind is not.
anyways dont be distracted by the substances and look into yourself to find the problems and make the choices that will bring you joy.
