I think new media is a term that is changing.. 8 years ago it was interactive CDs, 7 years ago, it was flash websites, 6 years ago it was motion graphics, today, maybe interactive/ reactive environments, responsive installations, etc. 5 years from now, its going to be something else.. new media will always be "new medium of communication"
if you say you do "new media" and you are doing "business cards cd roms, then its you the one that needs to change you title, as technology keeps evolving, so will the the meaning of "new"
