I've always thought a lot of design agencies should take a real lead in letting more staff work from home a couple of days a week to help take the strain off the cost of travelling and the various eco issues associated with commuting.
There's less reason these days why people should still be expected to commute to an office 5 days a week and for a lot of people in the UK an hour each way commute is not uncommon (not sure what other people's commute is) and working more from home would be a good way to save some pennies.
I've worked remotely on a lot of projects big and small and it's easy enough even if you have to go in every now and again for briefings and updates, it's better than being there full time.
- Good idea, it'd be nice too. Probably be to many lazy twits milking it though.weave
