I think you are a bit blind man. First of all the reason why the teachers have small salaries is exclusively because of the big hospitals, private colleges and so on. That's where the true government solves the problem. It gives doctors, teachers and other very important professions the most money exactly because they deal with human lives (directly or indirectly). I come from Europe originally and I know what I'm talking about. The problem here in the US is with the government not doing their job correctly. I can start talking about this in detail but it would take too much time. When I say doing their job correctly, that doesn't mean they don't know how, it means that they don't want to. It's much easier to get people in debt, spend the money who knows where, than giving it back to people for a better life.
