    Judging by your list up there, it seems you have a hankering for the "quirky outsider(s) who are misunderstood yet hip, on the fringe yet part of the scenery, live in a world of esoteric bric a brac yet reside next door, and where the biggest surprise is that they are more like you then you could have imagined" genre.
