It’s definitely a cliché but there’s no other way to describe it — 99designs was started by sharks who want to exploit designers. Our role at 99designs is to provide a bottom of the barrel, dirt cheap environment where designers from all walks of life can create total shite in 5 minutes - and clients can continue to think that design is something you just open a cracked copy of photoshop and add a gradient to and it will be done in a jiffy for less than $50.
