  Noneis, I agree somewhat. I grew up on the East Coast, and being a surfer, no one misses the ocean more than me I can assure you. I will say that downtown has been revitalized a lot in recent years, it's changed even in the 2.5 years since I moved here.

  STL also has great Italian, Indian, Mexican and Thai food if you know where to look. There are places like Busch's Grove and Harvest where the seafood is pretty good and the atmosphere is stunning (read: does not belong in the Midwest).

  • See, the word "great" is misplace I think, it's just OK, that was really driven home for me not only on my drive back out to Oregon, but once I landed. Event the crap bar food here is better, just my opinion thoughNONEIS
