I actually think that women with any amount of skill get a bit of a lead based on the fact that they bring an entirely new set of ideas to the table. I think that is a great asset for someone hiring a new designer. This isn't to say I think men are in trouble or that terrible women will get the job over a good male designer. I just think that women with a lot of ambition and motivation in this field are a commodity, so when the opportunity comes around they are usually given a bit more attention and generally offered a position faster.
- Yeah...I mean, if you can find the right chemistry within a group, who cares. It's nice to have a variety.Jaline
