When I first started out there were easily 5 men to 1 woman. It seems to be slowly changing...though white men still dominate positions of power. I do a lot of work in higher education and there is a trend where enrollment is about 60/40 to 80/20 women. Colleges are trying to attract more guys now. I'm curious how this will play out in the next two generations.
- agree. i see more females in colleges compare to guys. Yet, i see a more diverse group of men in higher position not just 'white male', from my trips to many different cities and countries.********
- yeah, it definitely depends on the industry too.Jaline
- There are definitely more women in arts and political programs, and more guys in science and engineering.Jaline
