    I remember that it was great fun. I could keep you up for days with stories, but I'll tell you only one for now:

    In chemistry class, 11th grade, we were all made to buy safety goggles so we didn't blow our eyes up with chemicals. When the order came in they were distributed; they were green transparent frames/lenses.

    I must have thought "how boring!" because that night I took them home and colored 95% of them with black Magnum 44 permanent marker, leaving only a tiny 1/2 inch slit that was an inch wide for me to see out of.

    The next day we actually had a lab and I believe I was made to purchase more for having, ahem, "insufficient and unsafe optical viewing range."

    This has been one of many, many stories to come.
