Just comes down to money, if you got it, get something better, it'll last you longer.
As for home built, the warranty alone (upgrade to the Gold tech support, well worth it) is enough hassle not to ever go that route unless you enjoying building them (not for me).
Have you ever tried calling company A and explaining the problem, they tell you to call company B, which tells you it is company C's fault, and round and round.
One phone call (Gold Support is US operators, answer in minutes if there is a wait at all) and you can take care of every component.
