The only time you will every feel the difference with the quad core is if your using programs that support 4 cores. like Max or Maya. or yes. cinema 4d.
but its still insanely exspensive for a that kinda of upgrade. the duo to the quad price jump is no were near even 100 pounds. and the graphics cards in question are not with the price they justify in the upgrade. im thinking though that the xps is the gaming machine ? with the fancy case?
