haha 400$.. ? for 15 illustrations? fck that. it'll be a full days work just getting everyone organized and portraits photo'd for reference.
like aurthur said even $1500 for all is stupid cheap. i'd imagine with all the prep & post you'll be putting 3-4 hours into each portrait.
i wouldn't do it for less than $150 each.
