is it flash or html and css?
if its html and css... make sure you dont have graphic text, or at least make sur ethat the bulk of what needs to be (or searched) conveyed isn't graphic. make sure it is well organized and laid out using semantic code. make sure it is optimized for text-based browesrs / alternative browsers (phones, palms, etc...) or screen-readers.
you'll find meta-tags have little if any significance.
theres more to look into i'm sure, and flash sites are a whole different ballpark
- description should contain a marketing message. use google tags to stop dmoz taking overtrooper
