  Even if people spend it on things they don't need it will help.
  The worst thing people can do with that money is buy more debt.

  Paying off debt directly will help as well.

  $600 may not be alot individually but $600 for everyone will (correction: could) make a big difference on the economy.

  Best thing to do is take that money and pay off debt, if you don't have debt buy a product made buy a company who's trying to do something good. Buy local, buy from companies who are charitable.
