I'm technically not supposed to be wearing jeans, but I get away with it. Maybe because I'm a student and no one expects me to be really professional? Or because I wear more formal tops (or stick with black) and my jeans are usually very dark. I will be buying some non-jean pants soon though.
Either way, I don't see what the big deal is to not wear jeans at work. People always seem to be complaining about it here.
