I may be starting a new gig that is going to require me to wear business-casual attire.
all previous employers had no requirements for dress, so jeans and button down is what i wear.I was told today that i would not be allowed to wear jeans and should be dressed in business-casual.
I need some fashion advice, and of course if i just go to the store to seek help they just suggest business stuffy office look

the term "business casual" is so vague... what the fuck is casual about having to wear slacks/dress pants? nothing, that's what. fuck them. and no, I have no suggestions, because here at my job it's supposedly business casual, but we can were jeans; and then we have casual Fridays so I get to wear a t-shirt if I want.
fucking stupid.

I agree, business casual means different things to different people.

Head to your local Sears or JCPenny and head to the middle aged males with no taste department.
you'll find plenty of dockers there.
