Its always like that, especially with large ad agencies. Its really up to you to manage that time effectively. I always try to know exactly what I want to do ahead of time before making a new document. Experiment on your own free time and personal projects. Once you start to do this efficiently, then it's also how you know its time to begin to raise your rate :) Create your own mental library of great ideas. Pull em out when you need em. Nice work man.
