I'd seriously do away with the intro page and get straight to it. You can easily use some of the space on the gallery page for artist info and contact and if I'm visiting an artists site, pretty much all I want to see first off is the work so the current intro page doesn't really do it for me especially as the three samples on it aren't clickable either.
Nicely done little gallery though, smooth but definitely get straight to the work I think.
