A few years ago I was listening to a radio interview of a director who made two movies I really liked (fucking forgot all the names) who said that he had one picture left on his contract with the studio. So the studio was being pushy because the other movies did well and they wanted to capitalize on his momentum. He said there was nothing yet that really sparked his interest.
So the studio said they wanted him to remake Gilligan's Island. WTF? He said they could kiss his ass.
More proof that Hollywood will churn out any pile of shit they can.
Shit, I wish I remembered his name or the damn movies he did.
