Miami Vice
-it was that guy from Alexander and Jamie Fox poorly acting. The plot served as a series of markers for either hamming it up, boring sex scenes, or driving around in the shitiest ferrari they could find (gray). They had a semi-tangential story that was as equally boring but gave the black guy someone to care about.

- Give him credit for trying to do something most people in the world would never imagine doing, which is shedding material concerns and looking for something more meaningful in the world/life. The movie makes it seem like he was just some kid mad at his parents but the book shows a different side. imoRushmore

I watched Into the Wild last night and, while good, it dragged on way too long. 2 1/4 hours... story could have been told in far less time.
Also, watched The Mist this weekend as well. It was OK, some bad acting, but I loved those huge creatures towards the end.
But if you've seen it, that was the biggest FAIL of all time, what the guy does at the end minutes before rescue. Seriously messed up.

I liked that film where the couple falls in the water and they try to keep off sharks - but that's not recent. Nice idea. Last film I really enjoyed (at least I bought the DVD) was "Gerry". Also liked a PT indy film - called "Rapace" - which is really hard to get. The rest... is more of the same, really. In my op obviously.
