  I never had my own equipment growing up when we played.

  I couldn't roller blade or ice skate very well either, so I'd often be goalie. That equipment was also borrowed. Which in hind sight really wasn't much and if you've ever been hit squarely with a roller puck you'll know what I'm talking about.

  • grew up playing in an inner city charity league in upstate ny as a goalie. the only pads I had were:ninjasavant
  • a helmet, leg pads from the 60s, a first basemans mitt, and a piece of cardboard for a blocker.ninjasavant
