  You have to also think about the capacity (strength) of your processor. Remember that audio take up a lot of space and can drain resources on your computer. Actually, it's a lot better to just have a completely different computer for audio development. ASIO driver should be included with your Sound Card, so no need to worry. Response time will be instantaneous with a good system. You cannot get that without a decent Sound Card man.
