Vinyl's a no no - environmentally unsound and I think it creates bad fumes when burned so I don't *think* laser cutters will go near it.
Just ask them what they'd recommend - if it's just a one-off job, they might have a suitable scrap around the warehouse they can use (and reduce your cost!)
