have an older 12" intuos. i rarely use it but it is awesome when i need it... id mostly recommend adjusting the seetings until you feel comfortable holding the pen. and then use it as much as possible... its going to feel very different than a mouse. use it instead of your mouse for a few days and learn your keyboard short cuts so you dont have to be clicking around the interfaces and can keep your hand in one place
