I am not convinced that showing personal photography on a site that is trying to show your professionalism regarding design and art direction is appropriate. My suggestion is to leave the personal photography for something else. The only argument that I could see fit for showing personal photography is if it had a connection to photo direction, but I don't see that.
You don't want professionals in our field knocking the photography because they assume you do photography at a professional level. It's not fair for you as your looking for work etc.
