    Of course you can - better with a larger surface flatbed, with a high DPI and less than 30ms Scan time (ie. most about any modern scanner).

    Obviously, it needs to be quite sturdy - though if you can put a laptop on, then more's the better. One hint - Use a taut wrap of cellophane so that if there's some screen contact (unavoidable, really), you don't risk scratching either surface. Sometimes, however, this can interfere with te picture quality (especially with modern 'green' cellophanes), so it's better to just ensure you've got a mm or so clearance.

    • Oh - nearly forgot - turn the ligjhts out when you do this - as you'll probably have to leave the scanner door wide open!
