that was at a time when our dollar was hovering around record lows and economy was slumping. even then your average canadian would scream bloody murder at the idea of a common currency.
our dollar is now at par and the economy is strong. with the US economy taking a nasty nose dive theres very little chance canadians would have anything to do with this.
