  You've opened it up too much.
  If you italicize the FF, you have to italicize the t, and I'd avoid both because then it'd look o//oo| or o//oo/
  Try bringing the first e into the bar of the ff...

  Try a version with a reverse oblique, so it's all \\\\\\\ in your grill.
