i have the 20d and love it (i think i've said that like 30 times on here haha). nate(eighthourday) just got the 5d and i got to play around with it for a bit. it's pretty sweet. it actually felt lighter than mine (which threw me off a bit...but he also had the lens on it that i mentioned above (the 50mm fixed lens), and i've got the tamron 28-200 on mine...which practically doulbes the weight)
the one thing that i really liked about it was the fact that it doesn't have the onboard flash. that thing bugs the shit out of me, especially when i'm being lazy and shooting in auto-mode and forget that needs to always pop up. i'm really surprised i haven't snapped that thing off yet.also the larger lcd is pretty nice. it makes mine look tiny (although the 40d has the same size as the 5d i think).
plus full-frame. i wish i had a full-frame camera to work on an equal level with some of my pre-digital slr lenses.
