    no personal offense here leftwave, but you really need to study typography, typesetting, and letter forms more. this is a common situation in all the comps you post and i think you would really grow as a designer if you had this skill more refined. it would help you define your own design sensibility i think.

    that said, being involved in the cycling world/industry/shops/wrench/etc for years and years, none of these marks feels remotely appropriate for a cycling shop. i actually disagree with the direction of making them more 'tough' as that is not really a quality of cycling. now, 'quality' and 'precision' certainly are, but 'tough' is one of quite a bit ago, not today.

    try and define the tone reflective of the shops' personality with the face chosen; not all over the place as you are currently.

    you will get it.

    • I agree as well. Tough and"distressed" are for campaigns. Identities need to last longer that fashion.lherb
