I currently live in Melbourne. I got back to Aust at the end of last year after spending two years working in London. I really love that town, and I got to see a bit of the rest of the UK as well.
I really miss it now, the mix of cultures and art scene like vespa said, is a lot greater than in Aust in my opinion, and the whole mentality is a lot differnet as well. Its as iff everyone is trying to play "catch up" with Europe and the US. But I don't miss the weather, and coming back home to beautiful beaches and a summer of surfing is nothing to complain about.
