45nm = 45 nanometre process to make chips, current MBP's run on 65nm. It should mean that the chips use a lot less power and produce less heat. There is also a boost to processing power if i remember rightly.
You can read about it here http://www.intel.com/technology/…Only reason I say Feb is because there wasn’t a late 2007 update like there was in 2006, I expected a processor update at Macworld but it didn’t come. I really hope we don’t have to wait till July+ for the Montevina update!
